I’m Jimmy Senechal currently at Ubisoft Montréal as a tool programmer. You’ll find below all information regarding my game projects, both personal and ones that were made at school with other students.
Goat and Gongs
Party-Game made using Unreal Engine 4.9

Goat a Gongs is a 2 player cooperative game where you control 2 monks trying to protect a goat, as the last challenge of their initiation.
To succeed their trial, they have to proceed throught a temple made of 14 rooms.

Monks carries a shield which they use to protect themself and the goat from incoming fire sources. If either them or the goat is touched by the fire, some fried smell would be the last thing we will remember them of.
Blob Battle

A class project made in 2016 involving 3 programmers over 13 weeks.
Blob battle is a 2 player versus game where you control Blobs participating in a tournament to crown the future king of the Blob Kingdom. The tournament is based on a best of 3, and each round is disputed in a different arena.

Players have to jump and stomp their opponents to hurt them. After 3 rounds, the player who won 2 or more rounds will win and be crowned as the new king of the kingdom.
The game is fully playable on the 3 arenas using Xbox/PS4 controllers.
Prototorb
Rogue-Lite game made using Unity( Work in Progress)

A hobby project I wanted to make during my Christmas break.
Prototorb is a single-player Rogue-Lite game where the player incarn a drone, who’s sent as a recon unit into a forgotten bunker.
On his way into this procedurally generated floors, the drone realized he wasn’t alone and that he wasn’t weaponized for the sole purpose of scaring possible rodents.
I’ll ensure to update as much as possible the executable link posted previously. The game should be playable on any stage with a Xbox 360 controller.

Purgatory
Arcade Versus-game made using Unity

A game made during a GameJam organized by the student’s association of computer siences of UQAC. The theme of the GameJam was « Judgement ».
Purgatory is a versus game, where 2 players fight over wandering souls that seek peace. One player incarn an angel and the other a succubus. Both use energy balls to conver the lost souls to guide them toward either heaven or hell.
The players can also lay traps such as tower that shoot energy projectiles toward neutral or enemy souls, mines that detonate converting all souls within the radius or a flame wall blocking the enemy player and souls movements.
Gravitas
Mobile Puzzle-game made using Unreal Engine 4.7

A class project made in 2015, involving 5 programmers during 8 weeks.
Gravitas is a single player mobile game where the player must help an automaton repairing famous inventions contained in a book.
This is how a story is told, you follow the tales of the automaton, learning how he managed to repair/build all thoose inventions.

The player can move blocks in order to create path for the automaton by swiping fingers on the touchscreen and then moving the automaton with a simple touch.
